2025 High School Trip - Feedback

Keith Posley and Yumi Ando - Parents of Mak Posley, Rhodes College, Class of 2029
This has been an amazing journey for Mak and for us as a family.  We have so much to be thankful for, not the least of which is your support and wisdom along the way, culminating in the OWB summer experience. It was extraordinary in every way.  From the organizational details, to the sightseeing, to the food, to the coaching and the baseball games, the trip was phenomenal.  We saw Mak grow in maturity, confidence and baseball knowhow in a short amount of time.  The camaraderie among the players was also notable and, as Mak said, it was the most fun he's ever had playing baseball.  We can't thank you enough for your commitment, coaching philosophy and support of Mak.

Jenny Russell and Andrew Loomis - Parents of Jackson Loomis, Denison University, Class of 2029
As parents, we have only fervent praise for this trip. It was masterfully planned and executed. Our son had glowing things to say about his coaches, fellow players, the baseball experience, and the tourist sites. Thanks to Stephan and Tom's clear and thorough pre-trip communication as well as their daily reports during the trip, we felt confident that our son was safe and having the time of his life.

Jackson Loomis, Denison University, Class of 2029
This trip was perfect not just because of the scenic views, the local flavor, or the baseball games, but also because of the flawless execution and variety. Each place we visited was magical in their own distinct way. We moved between locations smoothly. The food was delicious and abundant. The coaching staff provided the team with a steady dose of wisdom on the bus rides that will stick with me as I head in to my first college season. I cannot think of a single thing I would change about this trip.

Luke Bussard - Parent of Shane Bussard, Dickinson College, Class of 2029
A most sincere thank you for offering and taking Shane on such a memorable experience.  He loved every minute of it!  He got off the plane a different young man than he got on.  It was clearly a formative experience for him and something we are most grateful for!  Thank you so much for everything.  Please send our thanks along to the rest of the staff as well. He could not stop talking about all of the things he learned, the way in which you lead the team as a college program, the mental training that he was able to build on, not to mention the relationships that he will have for life.  THANK YOU!

Shane Bussard, Dickinson College, Class of 2029
Thank you so much for making my experience in Europe the best it could be. I enjoyed it greatly and loved every minute of it. Weather it was touring Venice, failing down mountain trails or the long bus rides. Getting döners and cheese or jumping in lakes. While baseball was the main focus of the trip, I am forever grateful for the things I was able to experience and learn off the field thanks to ... the coaching staff. Your earnest tours and upbeat attitude made some of my favorite memories on the trip.  Once again I am forever grateful to ... the coaching staff for making my experience as awe inspiring, learned, and amazing as it was. I will continue to try and stay as openminded and optimistic as I was pushed to be on this trip in my everyday life.

Elizabeth and Todd Hinshaw - Parents of Davis Hinshaw, William Peace, Class of 2029
We are 100 percent certain that Davis had a wonderful experience (10/10 was his rating).  It really feels like his world view has broadened and he has so many takeaways from the conversations that took place that will prepare him for his upcoming college experience. This was his first trip outside of the United States (excluding Canada) and was such a great way to immerse him into the surrounding culture and take in all of the beauty and history.  There is no way that this trip didn't help him to grow in character and prep him for the future.  Adding baseball to the mix was the cherry on top.
